Tuesday 10-11-2009

After not having sexual dreams for about 10 days, last night I finally had one. In the dream, i was reading a sex magazine. There were photos of a woman massaging a penis between her breasts, side-by-side with photos of a woman massaging a shoe (which looked like a penis) between her breasts. I turned the page, and a woman was giving oral sex to a penis. Surprisingly, I felt myself close to orgasm, when I disappointingly stopped myself.

Current state of affairs

In the last few days, I came pretty close to breaking and was tempted to have sex or to masturbate. I resisted the urge and was rewarded with several consecutive nights or sexual dreams (but not orgasm yet).

While sitting for lunch at work, I looked across and saw an attractive woman (modestly dressed). I was surprised to feel an erection building up, without actually having thought sexual thoughts. This has never happened to me before. I am quite enjoying this heightened sexual state, and consider it an advantage and benefit of this experiment.

Questions

These are questions that I am yet to answer:

1. Going to bed naked or not? My current theory is that some contact of the penis with the underwear as it becomes erect, helps stimulate the penis and induce the wet dream. As the nights are getting warmer here now, I will start experimenting with sleeping naked, to see if it produces different results. Another idea could be experimenting with different types of underwear (i.e. tight or loose) and different fabrics of underwear. Also, the position of the penis as I fall asleep (is it pushed down, up, to the side etc.), is an interesting question.

2. Vitamin B3? A post I read online suggested that a vitamin 3 supplement could increase sexual tension and help in bringing about wet dreams. I am yet to investigate this option.

3. Different times of going to sleep and sleeping with the blinds up or down (in regards to sunlight coming in), could affect the results as well.

4. Amount of water drunk before going to sleep, or how full my bladder is. This is an interesting question as well. Intuitively, I feel there is some connection here.

...More to be added...

What works

1. The most successful element I discovered so far is having a long sleep. As far as I can tell, this greatly increased the chance of having a wet dream. When I say a long sleep, I mean 10 hours or more. The nights that I had a wet dream, I had gone to bed at around 9:30pm or 10pm, and had the wet dream at around 6:30am. The most common time for my sexual dreams is between 5:30-6:45am. On those nights, I often get woken up between 2:00-4:00am by a very hard erection. I then force myself back to sleep, and a few hours later have the wet dream. This is pretty much the only certain factor I found so far. The rest are not very consistent.

2. This one only happened once, so I'm not certain about how repeatable it is. One afternoon, I had a 2 hour session of watching pornographic movies. I allowed myself to get an erection, but did not touch my penis. The length of the session resulted in vasocongestion (blue balls). I went to sleep 4 hours later and had a strong orgasm that night. I will have to further experiment with this method in order to further validate it. The main problem with this method is the length of time required to attain the vasocongestion state.

3. One potential idea is that very subtle stimulation during the day could make a difference. In one instance, I was watching an action movie during the day, in which a cleavage of one of the actresses aroused me. It was brief, and not enough to cause erection. But I had a sexual dream that night.

What doesn't work

1. Getting myself sexually excited before falling asleep. This very rarely worked if at all. I found that in the nights that I did have sexual dreams, I did not visualize sexual imagery in bed or just before going to bed. The same goes for watching pornographic movies before bed.

2. Masturbating without ejaculating. I have tried getting myself very close to orgasm and then stopping, in order to increase the sexual hunger as to induce a wet dream. This again rarely worked. My theory is that the pre-ejaculatory fluid somehow reduces the sexual tension and prevents the wet dream from occurring.

Problems and questions

My most common problems that prevent an orgasm in wet dreams are:

1. In the dream, I worry about having an orgasm too quickly. Not realizing this is a dream, I am concerned that if I ejaculate too quickly, the woman would be disappointed that I didn't help her reach orgasm first. I usually contract my PC muscles in order to avoid climax. I usually don't get another chance to have an orgasm that night.

2. I wake up before I have an orgasm. This often happens. Since I started this experiment, I had at least 80 sexual dreams that could have ended in orgasm if I didn't wake up too soon. I usually try to fall back to sleep in order to get another chance.

3. In the dream, I stop myself from having sex with a person that I think I should not have sex with. This is often my ex-wife or some other family member (such as an aunt etc.) or in rare cases, another man (being heterosexual, I instinctively reject this in my dreams). In the case of my ex-wife, my internal dialogue in the dream goes like this, "we wanted to have a clean break with the divorce. Don't complicate things by having sex with her now".

4. Someone walks in on us while we're having sex. The person that interrupts us is often my mum or my ex-wife. This case is one of the most frustrating ones, since upon waking, I realize that I could have continued having sex without suffering any adverse consequences. This sometimes raises the issue of morality in dreams.

The first dream

The first dream that led to orgasm (even though it didn't result in wet underwear), was in June 2009. In the dream, I was walking down the street at night, when two women walked past me. The one on the left had thick long black hear, was wearing a police cap, and her very large breasts were exposed and bouncing as she walked by.

I turned around to follow her, and in a sudden urge reached out with my left hand to cup her her large breast from behind. I reached down between her legs with my right hand and massaged her vagina and clitoris (which were now exposed, even though they were not a second before. These inconsistencies often happen in my dreams). I cradled my chin on the soft skin of her neck and shoulder, and to my surprise she was enjoying my attentions and was not complaining about the sudden contact. This drove me over the edge, and I had a strong orgasm. I woke up immediately with a strong erection, and checked for any semen on my penis. The tip might have been a bit wet, but otherwise there were no signs of ejaculation.

I was very surprised at the speed of my orgasm, as I didn't penetrate her, and it all happened within a second or two. This reminded me of my first sexual experience. I was very young then, and was about to have sex with a 28 year old call girl. She was on top of me, and as I held my penis to penetrate her, I ejaculated. This was the only time I ever experienced premature ejaculation, and since then I always tried to delay my orgasm.

The habit of delaying orgasm, while useful in real life sex, is not so helpful in the realm of wet dreams. I found that you need to be quick and decisive in the dream in order to produce an orgasm. Otherwise, some distraction occurs in the dream which destroys the opportunity to have an orgasm.

The other recurring theme is the ease of sexual encounter in dreams. Virtually any person in the dream is a willing sexual partner, once you've taken the decision and initiative to have sex or sexual contact with them. This would happen again and again. I would often remind myself before going to sleep, "doesn't matter who it is, just do it!".

The second dream

The second dream was in August 2009. The beginning of the dream was a bit blurry. There was a violent scene that involved a drive by shooting and I suspect some Chinese gangs. Then suddenly I was inside a black Volkswagen Combi van. The benches were facing each other. Next to me was a one of the gangsters. Opposite me, on the other bench was his Asian girlfriend. Suddenly, she was naked. I wanted to touch her but was concerned about the reaction of her armed boyfriend. After some deliberation, I went over and started having sex with her. Once again, the willingness of immediate and sudden sexual participation amazed and delighted me. I had been watching some pornographic movies that week and in one of the scenes the couple was having sex in one of those strange contortionist positions where the woman is sort of upside down, with her neck and upper back on the ground and her torso up in air, as if she is trying to lick her own vagina. The man then squats down to insert his penis into her vagina.

We were having sex in that position, and I could clearly see my penis sliding in and out of her vagina. This repetition of an image from real life in the dream often happens to me after a few hours of playing cards before going to bed. I would just see myself sorting cards in my dreams for a few hours. Shortly, I had an orgasm and again woke up immediately. I desperately tried to go back to sleep, to continue having sex with the woman, but I found it very hard to fall asleep again, as I was quite excited and had a very hard erection, which lasted a long time.

Who am I?

I am a 40 year old Australian male, and I have always been fascinated by wet dreams and the mechanics behind them. The purpose of this blog is to collect knowledge about ways to induce wet dreams, to improve their quality and vividness, and to increase the memory retention of the dreams.

As far as I can remember, I have had several orgasms in my wet dreams, but never woke up to find my underwear wet (i.e., the ejaculation was not full). However, the pleasure of the orgasm was just like a full-fledged real life orgasm, which means I still covet these dreams. I can usually remember all the details of the dream, which makes them enjoyable experiences to reflect back on. This makes one think about the statement "the mind cannot tell the difference between a real experience and a vividly imagined one". Based on this, the value of these dreams is not lesser than the real sexual experiences.

I remember reading a web post asking how to induce these dreams. The person who answered gave this reasoning: "all you get is wet underwear and you can't remember anything". What makes the difference is remembering the dream and enjoying some very unusual sexual encounters in these dream sequences.

I started working towards having these dreams in earnest in March 2009. I decided not to have sex or ejaculate via masturbation in order to bring the dreams on. At the time of writing, this makes it 8 months without sex. This is quite a feat for me, as since the age of 18 (22 years), I have not gone a month without having sex with a woman.

However, I kept masturbating to the point of orgasm and stopped just before ejaculation. I have been trying the techniques described in Mantak Chia's book The Multi-Orgasmic Man which explain how to have orgasms without ejaculation. However, after not having any wet dreams for a while, I decided that this ejaculation-free masturbation was preventing me from building up sufficient sexual tension to bring on the wet dreams.

So in May 2009, I completely stopped touching my penis, in order to create a real hunger for sexual interaction. At the time of writing, this makes it 6 months without any physical stimulation of the penis whatsoever.

Since then I had 3 wet dreams. As before, none of them left me with wet underwear. But I can distinctly remember feeling the muscle spasms of orgasm and the flow of semen through my penis.

I will go into further details of the dreams in my next post.
